About

I am a recent UWE BA fine art photography graduate, specialising in portrait and documentary image making.

My practise is personally led, often dealing with trauma and vulnerability. Photography as a beneficial therapeutic tool is becoming increasingly more prominent within my work and dominates a large portion of my research areas.

I am intrigued by photography's instinct to story tell and allude to. Metaphor and text is also used largely as an expressive tool within my practise.

Text has the ability to inform while the image refers to; working alone or together, they enrichen the narrative of my work.

I shoot distinctly on 120 film, using the Mamiya RZ67, which allows me to slow down, and consider every shot i take.
